Commissioner for Sport in London Praises Panathlon

Category:Kate Hoey, the Mayor of London's Commissioner for Sport, spoke positively about the Panathlon Challenge on Monday 3rd November at a Sport in London Conference. She said, "We need in London to support the Grass Roots projects that don't cost too much and deliver much. I visited the Panathlon Challenge Final in the summer, which was fantastic, and it demonstrated what can be achieved for young disabled people, for not very much."

Panathlon moves into Kent

Category:With generous three year funding from Children in Need, Panathlon will additionally be organising competitions for Disabled young people in Kent in 2009. Jo Eames, Director of Sport at Valence School and Sports College in Westerham said, "Panathlon is a great inclusive competition and we are all looking forward to competing in Panathlon this year.”
