“After attending the Panathlon training day at Braintree College where we learnt how to officiate the sports that Panathlon offers. We attended the competition to put our skills into action and officiated the Athletics which included Wheelchair Slalom, seated bean bag, javelin, shot put and Standing Long Jump. It was amazing seeing the children participating in the sports It makes all the fundraising that the team do at Hilton London Stansted worthwhile and we are proud to be supporting the Panathlon Challenge." Category:Today we are at Braintree College at Panathon, where 4 schools are competing in preparation for the Regionals competition in April. It is absolutely amazing watching these wonderful athletes participate at such a high level. You can see the pure enjoyment of their face while they are competing.
The Woodland Group are proud to sponsor Panathlon and look forward to attending future events.

Posted: Wednesday 9th November 2011
Category:In June we ran a Boccia Young Officials Course at Oak Lodge School in Wandsworth, where we trained 10 Deaf and Hearing Impaired Young Leaders. We then utilised some of these young leaders yesterday at the Panathlon School Games Event, where they helped organise the Boccia Competition and assisted Boccia England staff in the classifying of talented young Boccia players. School Games / Panathlon View from Teaching Assistant

Category:" This was my first time watching Boccia being played. All the teams showed great skills and teamwork, some of the shots were amazing, great hand eye co-ordination put in to practice. There was very good sportsmanship at the end of each round, players shaking hands and congratulating each other. Well done !" Hilda O'Brien, TA Swiss Cottage School.
" Today was a fantastic event where the children had a chance to shine and reach their own podiums. Panathlon has given the opportunity for young people with disabilities the chance to show their skills in several sports. Its a great opportunity for the competitors to meet new people and have an enjoyable but competitive day." Anthony Doherty, LB Camden.
